On Sunday, July 5, at 10 p.m., Investors Bank’s Head of Business and Government Banking Michael MacIntyre will close out the holiday weekend by joining77WABC’s “Mind Your Business” program with Yitzchok Saftlas to discuss the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). MacIntyre and Saftlas will be joined in the discussion of the business climate in the wake of COVID-19 by Zacharia Waxler, CPA,Co-Managing Partner and Ahron Golding, Esq., MTx, tax attorney, respectively for Roth&Co.For more than 40 years, Roth&Co has been supporting medium and small businesses on tax and consulting matters. MacIntyre and Waxler will provide an overview of the PPP.The program is part of the original CARES Act that became law on March 27and provides$376 billion in relief to American workers and small businesses. MacIntyre and Golding will also discuss loan forgiveness under the PPP, including what can be forgiven, along with the process, timing, documentation necessary and what happens if loans are not forgiven.
