Getz has more than 20 years of experience in Garden State facility, property management

JLL has hired Dana Getz as senior vice president to lead its New Jersey property management business. In her new role, Getz will spearhead business development opportunities as well as oversee operational excellence for the firm’s current New Jersey office property management portfolio.

Getz has more than 23 years of experience in New Jersey real estate, specializing in facility management, property management and capital project management. She has been recognized by JLL throughout her tenure. Getz is especially proud of receiving the firm’s Beacon Award, which honors JLL professionals for excellence in people management, as well as the firm’s Continued Excellence Award in overall performance. She has guided her teams to strive for excellence in operations, achieving The Outstanding Building of the Year awards from the Building Owners and Managers Association of New Jersey on both local and regional levels.

Getz rejoined JLL in October 2019 to lead its New Jersey property management business. Prior to that, she was a senior vice president at P3 Properties. Earlier, Getz joined JLL’s New Jersey office in 2007, working with the firm’s property management group for more than 10 years as a Group Manager and senior vice president. While there, she was responsible for providing property management services for New Jersey assets totaling more than 1.3 million square feet.

Before that, Getz was a senior real estate manager for CB Richard Ellis Inc. She launched her career in real estate in South Florida, relocated to New Jersey and began working for JLL throughout the tri-state area. Her roles with the firm over a period of nine years spanned multiple aspects of the real estate industry as a project manager, regional analyst and, lastly, as facility manager.

Getz received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Rutgers University. She is an active executive board member of the Building Owners and Managers Association of New Jersey, and is slated for member approval to serve as president of BOMA New Jersey in 2020.
