Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the largest brokerage in the New York Metropolitan area and the second largest independent residential real estate brokerage in the United States by sales volume, has released the Winter 2020 Art Issue of Elliman Magazine. The Art Issue honors the natural mingling of the art and real estate spheres, as well as Douglas Elliman’s seventh annual sponsorship of the Collectors Lounge at Art Basel Miami Beach, North America’s premier art fair.

“We are thrilled to debut our annual art-inspired winter issue in the Elliman-sponsored Collectors Lounge here at the fair – surrounded by so much extraordinary art,” said Susan de França, president and CEO of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. “This Winter issue captures the best of Art Basel, reminding us that this time of year invites focus, renewal and heightened artistic creativity. Whether you’re touring the nation’s finest art museums, exploring new cuisines, or enjoying your own curated art collection in one of our exceptional residences, we invite you to embrace this time as a period of inspiration.”

The issue’s cover story celebrates Miami’s Penthouse 706 at One Ocean, the home of famed developer and art collector Jorge Pérez, currently listed with Elliman’s Oren Alexander and Isaac Lustgarten. Designed specifically for Pérez who helped spearhead the revitalization of the South of Fifth neighborhood it occupies, the spectacular penthouse showcases Pérez’ enthusiastic promotion of Miami as an international art capital.

“At Douglas Elliman, we foster and grow the connections between real estate and art in terms of self-expression, style and values, and we appreciate our clients’ discerning taste which is why our partnership with Art Basel is such a perfect match,” said Scott Durkin, president and COO of Douglas Elliman. “Every issue of Elliman Magazine is hotly anticipated by our agents and clients, and with its stellar content and sleek layout, the Winter 2020 edition does not disappoint.
