Savings Bank of Danbury announced today that four of their employees have recently graduated from The Leadership Danbury program, sponsored by the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce.
Since its inception in 1987, this Chamber program has graduated more than 700 participants, preparing these leaders for positions of responsibility by acquainting them with community processes and pressing issues. Participants in the program engage in discussions with established leaders, go behind-the-scenes at the region’s key institutions, build leadership skills, create a lasting network of contacts, and give back to the community with a group project.
The recent Savings Bank of Danbury graduates include: Ray Kostka, VP Commercial BankIng, of Oxford,CT; Michelle Sullivan, VP Commercial Banking, of Woodbridge, CT; Tina Allegrezza ,AVP Human Resources, of New Fairfield, CT; and Domenic Bartolomeo, Accounting, of Brewster, NY.
Leadership participants attend monthly sessions from January to September at various locations throughout the region. Participants meet with individuals from many different industry sectors, giving participants a broader view of the business community. Businesses as well as public and private organizations act as hosts for each program.
