Avenue Of The Americas Association Hosts 93rd Anniversary Gala Honoring Rockefeller Group And 1271 Avenue Of The Americas

The Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Avenue of the Americas Association announced today the 93rd Annual Gala, honoring Rockefeller Group for their ongoing investment of the Avenue of the Americas and the Midtown corporate corridor. Rockefeller Group, through their reinvestment and redevelopment of 1271 Avenue of the Americas has demonstrated a strong commitment to Sixth Avenue and the growth and success of Midtown as the premier business district in New York City. The gala will be held at Gotham Hall on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

Honoring Rockefeller Group and 1271 Avenue of the Americas

Since 1961, the Avenue of the Americas Association has presented the Gold Key Award each year to an individual or organization who makes a positive contribution to the Avenue and New York City. Sarah Berman, Executive Director of the Avenue of the Americas Association and President of The Berman Group, will present Rockefeller Group with the Gold Key Award on behalf of the Association. Rockefeller Group will be presented with this award for their dedicated work on 1271 Avenue of the Americas.

Building owners and major tenants on the Avenue will attend the Gala to celebrate the civic and commercial improvements that have been accomplished along the Avenue. Guests will enjoy fine dining and a performance by The Harlem Gospel Choir, a group that has been entertaining audiences worldwide for two decades. Proceeds from the Gala will help the Association advance its mission in its 93rd year and promote the Avenue as a premier business community in New York City.
