Mike LaMartina Named Chief Revenue Officer of Ballpark Village

The St. Louis Cardinals and The Cordish Companies are pleased to announce a key appointment to the Ballpark Village executive team, naming Mike LaMartina as Chief Revenue Officer. Mr. LaMartina brings more than 18 years of experience in the entertainment, marketing, media and hospitality industries to this role, as well as a long history of community and philanthropic involvement. In his role as Chief Revenue Officer of Ballpark Village, Mr. LaMartina will be responsible for marketing, sponsorship and leasing initiatives for the first phase dining and entertainment district, as well as the $260 million second phase expansion.

Prior to Ballpark Village, Mr. LaMartina served as Marketing Outreach Manager for Habitat for Humanity St. Louis and Director of Entertainment and Sponsorship Marketing for Switch, an Experiential Marketing, Branding and Production Agency. Most recently, Mr. LaMartina served as the Director of Events and Experiences for Entercom St. Louis, overseeing promotions, marketing, sponsorship sales and full-scale event operations in the St. Louis Market.

Mr. LaMartina currently sits as Vice Chair for the Associate Board of Ambassadors (ABOA) for the American Cancer Society St. Louis Chapter.

The 700,000 square foot second phase expansion of Ballpark Village currently under construction next to Busch Stadium in downtown St. Louis features new buildings on both the east and west sides of the existing Phase 1 Ballpark Village development. On the west end, The PwC Pennant Building, the first new construction Class-A office tower built in downtown St. Louis in more than a generation, will open this summer. Opening this winter, a three-story retail pavilion just north of the existing Busch II Infield and Event Plaza – a spectacular glass pavilion that will be anchored by the 31,000 square foot Onelife Fitness, a nationally recognized, state-of-the-art health and fitness club. On the west end of the expansion south of The PwC Pennant Building, an upscale Live! By Loews hotel will open in the first quarter of next year, and on the east end, a 29-story luxury residential tower called One Cardinal Way will open summer 2020. Once complete, the second phase expansion will complete a full build-out of Clark Street, transforming it into one of the most exciting streets in all of professional sports.
