Dana Whitney

Colliers International Project Management is pleased to announce that Dana Whitney has joined the Corporate Interiors Project Management team as Director of Client Services. In her new role, Ms. Whitney will play a leadership role with the team’s business development initiatives and will be active in growing the Corporate Interiors and Workplace portfolio in the New York metropolitan area.

“Dana is already a proven driver of business growth in the New York real estate and project management space,” said David Horowitz, Regional Director of Corporate Interiors for Colliers. “Her reputation precedes her, as she brings a tenacity and enthusiasm that stand out even in the competitive workplace and interiors sector. We look forward to the new opportunities she’ll generate for our team.”

Ms. Whitney’s strategy will be three-pronged: 1) develop Colliers Project Management relationships with new third-party brokers, workplace occupiers and end-users, 2) strengthen the company’s current relationships and 3) develop strategies and marketing content to support the firm’s growing workplace and corporate footprint. With her extensive reach across New York’s design, construction and real estate network, she is primed to deliver on this approach, particularly because of her expansive knowledge of corporate interiors trends and business needs.

A major workplace trend is business culture becoming more focused on the needs of the workforce and individual employees, with workplaces adapting to that sea change. Colliers, Ms. Whitney believes, is well positioned to deliver on that widespread transformation.

“We understand that dynamic spaces drive business results while attracting and keeping talent,” said Ms. Whitney. “The agility and deep experience of our Colliers Project Management professionals, along with the energy and focus that they can devote to each client as a growing team, means that we can truly understand what our clients need in a workplace to drive success. Conveying that to the New York real estate, design and construction market is going to help us to continue to grow our footprint.”

Prior to joining Colliers, Ms. Whitney was the Director of Business Development at TPG Architecture, where she initiated and oversaw public relations, marketing and business development strategies to grow the firm’s footprint. She was also instrumental in driving TPG’s client advocacy and internal culture, as well as attracting and retaining talent at the company. Additionally, she has extensive experience in workplace and interiors firms, building wide commercial real estate networks and crafting winning sales strategies in highly competitive markets in New York, South Florida and North Carolina’s Research Triangle.
