Leading Harlem-based brokerage hosts free open-to-the-public workshop At Double Dutch Espresso, 2194 Frederick Douglass Blvd
Bohemia Realty Group, the premier residential and commercial, sales and leasing brokerage in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx, will host the 2019 debut of its monthly series on Wednesday, January 30, 7 to 8 p.m., at Double Dutch Espresso, 2194 Frederick Douglass Blvd. Entitled “Financial Planning When You’re Freelance,” the event is open to the public at no charge and will feature guest expert Christopher Michelsen, financial advisor at UBS Financial Services, Inc. Moderating the conversation will be Bohemia Realty Group’s Samantha Weinstein.
“Freelancers need to take charge of their money if they hope to be successful without a steady income,” explains Sarah Saltzberg, co-founding principal of the real estate brokerage. “Fortunately, Christopher will help workshop attendees feel confident by helping them create budgeting models that suit their professional needs.”
Adds Ms. Weinstein, “As an expert in financial planning, Christopher will outline the variables that freelancers need to be aware of in order to make the most of their hard-earned dollars.”
The entire series continues every month through November 2019 at community coffee shop Double Dutch Espresso. Complimentary pastries will be distributed to attendees. The next free event planned is “To Sell or Not to Sell: Understanding the Market Value of Your Home” on Wednesday, February 27.
