The first fall 2018 REDinNYC event brought over 600 real estate professionals out on September 27th to hear a presentation by David Fisher, founder of the premier legal blockchain, Integra Ledger, and the Global Legal Blockchain Consortium (GLBC.) The GLBC is composed of major law firms, corporate legal departments, software companies and universities. It is focused on standards and governance for the use of blockchain technology in the legal industry.
Guest speaker David Schwartz of Slate Property Group is currently developing over $4 billion in real estate throughout New York City and touted opportunities in Queens and especially the Forrest Hills neighborhood.
The fireside chat was moderated by Evi Angelakis, founder of Golden Key Realty, which focuses on multifamily properties, shopping centers, office buildings and development sites.
The evening event partner was Integra Ledger blockchain and its founder and CEO David Fisher. The audience also included principals from event co-sponsor Zoneomics, the nation’s largest zoning database, who offered a one-month free membership to all attendees.
