Global Firm Bureau Veritas Establishes Headquarters in New York City

Bureau Veritas, a leader in testing inspection and certification (TIC) services, today announced it has established its North American headquarters in New York City as a key component of the company's 2020 growth strategy and client service offering. The decision to grow operations in North America's global business hub aligns with Bureau Veritas' size and scope - 8,000 employees in 130 locations in North America – as well as the geographic footprint of its clients. The expansion includes plans to grow the company's employee base in the Northeast.

Establishing headquarters in New York City is a key component of Bureau Veritas' growth plan, which aims to double operations by 2020 through smart expansion including an aggressive merger and acquisition strategy. With several acquisitions over the past four years, key industry segments of growth include building and infrastructure; oil and gas; power and utilities; and food and agriculture.
