The Steering Committee for the Life Sciences 2018 Real Estate Development Symposiumwill host a meetingfor real estate, design and life science professionals atThe New York Academy of Sciences on Tuesday,June12, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a wine reception following until 4:00 PM.
The Potential for Life Sciences Real Estate Expansion in NYC
The Symposium will examine the progress and potential that New York City holds for the life science community’s requirements for space, adaptability and facilities to accommodate expansion and collaboration amongst scientists, designers, engineers and tech experts working in public and private settings.
The meeting is especially timely with the City of New York announcing its intention to establish an Applied Life Sciences Hub, the flagship project of LifeSci NYC, a 10-year, $500 million commitment to the City’s life science sector.
Collaborative Growth Opportunities
The goal of the symposium is to educate and increase awareness of collaborative growth opportunities among New York City’s real estate development, design and global life science communities. Session topics will include the definition of life sciences, traditional and upcoming industry drivers, requirements for space and characteristics of life science real estate and the state of life sciences in New York City.
