Blind, starring Demi Moore, Alec Baldwin and Dylan McDermott held at 50 United Nations Plaza Duplex Penthouse.

50 United Nations Plaza, Manhattan’s premiere residential global address, hosted a screening of Blind for guests of the design, real estate, and architecture industries on Wednesday, August 2nd. Even though this was one of New York City’s trademark rainy summer evenings, dozens of attendees broke out the umbrellas to enjoy this not to be missed event at one of Manhattan’s most unique residences.

Blind, a compelling thriller with a star-studded cast that includes Demi Moore, Alec Baldwin, and Dylan McDermott, was screened for over 100 guests at 50 United Nations Plaza’s one of a kind duplex penthouse, where major scenes from the film were shot. The approximately 10,000 square foot duplex penthouse is the quintessential embodiment of luxury, with unique characteristics and amenities, including a one of a kind ten thousand pound hand-crafted stainless steel staircase, an infinity edge swimming pool, and a main living room that spans nearly seventy five feet in length and has sweeping views of the East River, UN Secretariat, the Empire State Building, and Chrysler building. Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapes prior to the screening, and were treated to unparalleled views of the city from the best residential vantage point in the City. Prior to the screening, Blind writer and producer Diane Fisher delivered remarks regarding the film and the space in which a number of scenes were filmed.

50 United Nations Plaza is the perfect location in NYC’s Midtown East, enabling residents to access the finest shopping, dining and cultural offerings as well as ease of travel in and out of the city. The building is truly a global address. Adjacent to the UN Secretariat building, this is an international location offering privacy, convenience, and unparalleled residential luxury amenities. The screening proves that the real estate, architecture, and design worlds easily come together for the right event – along with incredible City views.
