Vistage Worldwide Inc., a global network of peer advisory groups serving the needs of businesses since 1957, has named Lee Peters of Canton, CT to the position of Regional Executive in their Northeastern United States territory.

In this capacity, he will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the efforts of more than 60 individual Vistage Chairs (leaders of business to business peer groups) and 1400 individual members in Metropolitan New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Boston, and New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. He will further work to expand the Vistage footprint in the region with the formation of new groups and adding new members.

Prior to joining Vistage, Peters was a Regional Manager for Enterprise Rent-a-Car in the Hartford, CT region, where he managed overall sales, marketing, and operational business development functions for 46 locations in the Hartford/Springfield area. He first joined the company as a Branch Manager in the Philadelphia area in 1995; in his last role as Regional Manager, he led a team of more than 300 employees and was the recipient of the Exceptional Achievement Award for overall performance.

A native of upstate New York, he is a graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. He and his wife, Becky reside in Canton, CT with their son Brandon and daughter Alyssa. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Canton (CT) Little League; other community activity has included volunteering for United Way.
