NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rivada Networks has announced that its long-serving Chief Technology Officer, Clint Smith, is being promoted to Chief Scientist. He will continue to serve as a member of Rivada Networks board of directors. Mr. Smith, who is an inventor of the company’s signature “Dynamic Spectrum Arbitrage” technology, along with multiple other innovations, will oversee the research, development and testing of new technologies and products in his new role.

As Chief Technology Officer for the past four years, and a member of the board of directors of Rivada Networks, Mr. Smith has overseen the development of Rivada’s entire suite of products and technologies, and the company has created this new role in order to strengthen and deepen its focus on innovation and product development.

Mr. Smith is a well-known technical author, having written numerous books and articles on wireless communication. Cumulatively, he has spent more than a decade with Rivada Networks.
