Douglas Elliman Celebrates Its Talented Nyc Agents With 2012 Awards Ceremony At Cipriani

NYC's Largest Brokerage Honors Top Agents and Teams Including Marcos Cohen, Leslie Mason, The Leonard Steinberg Team and The Eklund-Gomes Team

On February 27th, Douglas Elliman President and CEO Dottie Herman and Chairman Howard Lorber hosted the firm's NYC agents and employees at its annual awards celebration at Cipriani.

"Our outstanding agents and teams gave impressive performances this year, solidifying Douglas Elliman's place at the top of the industry," said Herman.  "We are very proud of their hard work and contributions to this company, which continue to be vital to the firm's success."

Earning the award for #1 Team by Gross Commission Income (GCI) was The Leonard Steinberg Team, led by Leonard Steinberg and based out of the 26 West 17th St. office.  Taking home this year's #1 Individual prize based on GCI was Marcos Cohen based out of the 575 Madison Ave office.

Rounding out the awards for Top Teams by GCI were The Eklund-Gomes Team (#2), The De Niro Team (#3), The Daniela Kunen Team (#4), The Ann Cutbill Lenane Team (#5), The Katzen Team (#6), The Sroka Worldwide Team (#7), The Andrew Anderson Team (#8), The Sukenik Team (#9), and The Walker Team (#10).

Other Top Individuals by GCI were Leslie Mason (#2), David Glick (#3), Gregory Williamson (#4), Suzan Kremer (#5), Laura Cao (#6), Melanie Lazenby (#7), Elizabeth Brown (#8), George van der Ploeg (#9), and Armanda Squadrilli (#10).

The Werde/Ettelson Team, based out of the 156 Montague St. office, was named Brooklyn's Top Producer of the year.

The prestigious Pinnacle Club Award winners, for agents and teams who made over $1 million in 2012, include The Leonard Steinberg Team, The Eklund-Gomes Team, The De Niro Team, The Daniela Kunen Team, The Ann Cutbill Lenane Team, The Katzen Team, The Sroka Worldwide Team, The Andrew Anderson Team, The Sukenik Team, The Walker Team, Marcos Cohen, Leslie Mason, The Alexander Team, The Kotler Team, Janice Chang, The Jacky Teplitzky Team, Michael Kafka, Sabrina Saltiel, The Patty Vance Team, The Holly Parker Team, The Polly Chang Team, Adam Rothman, The Ariel Cohen Team, Sachiko Goodman, The Tavivian Sporn Team, Kim Shepard-Fabrizi, The Zweben Team, Dennis Mangone, Rande Coleman, The Lense Team, The Debra Kameros Team, The Buchin-Raida Team, Jan Hashey, The Dana Commercial Team, Joan Swift, Victoria Logvinsky, Gail Sankarsingh, and The McDonough Hershkowitz Team.  Retail agents Faith Hope Consolo and Joseph Aquino of The Faith Consolo Retail Team were also recipients of the Pinnacle Award.

The award for Top Individual by number of transactions went to Gregory Williamson of the 156 Montague St. office and the award for Top Team by transactions went to The Hoffman-Meier Team, led by Mr. Dylan Hoffman and Mr. Brian Meier of the 26 West 17th St. office.

Other Top Individuals ranked by the number of transactions were Carolyn Cedar (#2), Gabriele Sewtz (#3), Eli Haliva (#4), Armanda Squadrilli (#5), Scott Klein (#6), Madeline Williamson (#7), Alexander Maroni (#8), Mary Crocker (#9), and a three-way tie for the number ten spot by Laura Cao (#10), Jessica Levine (#10), and David Glick (#10).

Additional Top Teams by awards transactions were The Eklund-Gomes Team (#2) and The Voda Team (#2), tied for second place, The Katzen Team (#3), The Werde/Ettelson Team (#4), The Andrew Anderson Team (#5), The Jessica Cohen Team (#6), The De Niro Team (#7), The Leonard Steinberg Team  (#8), The Rubin Team (#9), and The Peraino Team (#10).

The Top Retail and Commercial Award by Highest GCI went to The Faith Consolo Retail Team. The Dana Commercial Team won the same award by transactions.  The Andrew Anderson Team was presented with the 2012 award for Most Sales Exclusives in Manhattan, with The Werde/Ettelson Team earning the title for Brooklyn. The award for Most Rental Transactions went to The Kotler Team in Manhattan and Allan Gerovitz won the same distinction for Brooklyn. The DE Developments award for both highest volume and most signed contracts was presented to Andrew Anderson and Gail Sankarsingh for 400 Fifth Avenue.

Industry newcomer, James Brune, won the Rookie of the Year award for Manhattan, while Gabriel Greenberg won the same prize for Brooklyn.  Norma Hirsh was recognized for her career-long contributions to the business with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 4th Annual Peter Kelleher Memorial Award, an honor given in memory of a beloved manager at DE who represented a determination to succeed in spite of obstacles with a positive attitude, while giving unto others, was presented to John Lawrence, along with Patricia Vance, Pixie Yates, Juliette Pannone, Daniel Fried, Lawrence Goldschlager, Kathy Rossi, Kathy Murray and Joan Dunne for their efforts and "Leadership in the Eye of the Storm" during Hurricane Sandy.
