Occupancy Hits 98% at 1040 Avenue of the Americas
In a triple leasing play, Skyline Developers LLC has pushed occupancy to 98 percent at 1040 Avenue of the Americas, a signature art deco building in Midtown West's Bryant Park Business District.
William Cohen and Ryan Kass of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represent the locally based landlord of the 300,000-square-foot high rise.
Dice Holdings Inc. has added 4,520 square feet on the 16th floor, taking its total to 12,000 square feet in the high rise. Andrew Ross, Richard Serko and John Serko represented the tenant.
Setting up its first NY location, Vortexx Entertainment Ventures LLC will move into 4,699 square feet of class A office space on the ninth floor. Richard Bernstein and Theodora Livadiotis of Cassidy Turley represented the tenant, which is Saban Brand, an affiliate of Saban Capital Group.
Also, Charles River Systems Inc. took 3,519 square feet on the ninth floor. Brian Bey of A.C. Lawrence & Co. was the tenant representative.
"These three deals reflect the strength in the office market around Bryant Park, and the continued success that Skyline Developers will have at 1040 Avenue of the Americas," said Kass, a senior managing director.
The largest contiguous space now available is the eighth floor although 11,000 square feet and 7,000 square feet offices will soon open up on the 18th and 24th floors.
