Dennis Scully Appointed VP Business Development For Editor At Large

NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2012 -- The Editor at Large (editoratlarge.com), an online publication for the interior design community, has announced the appointment of Dennis Scully as the company's Vice President, Business Development, effective immediately. Formerly the Home Furnishings Director of Conde Nast's Domino, Mr. Scully will oversee Editor at Large sales and marketing initiatives.

Mr. Scully's career in the home furnishings industry began at a small retail advertising agency with clients such as Gracious Home, Jensen Lewis & Lee's Studio. Later, he went to work for the luxury bath brand Waterworks and became its New York Director of Sales & Marketing.  He subsequently moved into the publishing world, and, as Home Furnishings Director, he was part of the team that launched Domino Magazine.  He later served as Director of Sales & Marketing for Twill Textiles.

As VP Business Development, Mr. Scully will develop Editor at Large's existing lines of business including Advertising Sales, EditorTV sponsorships, Look Book submissions and Job Board postings. He will also build content distribution channels and video syndication partnerships.

"There are few people as well regarded, knowledgeable and connected within the design industry as Dennis. His diverse background, broad network, and passion for the industry make him the ideal candidate for this role," said Julia Noran Johnston, Editor at Large's President and Site Director.

"Having a dedicated business development person will help take Editor at Large to the next level which is very exciting," said Editor at Large partner Kristoffer Mack.
