Leading Harlem-based brokerage hosts free open-to-the-public workshop At Harlem Headquarters at 2101 Frederick Douglass Blvd.

Bohemia Realty Group, the premier residential and commercial, sales and leasing brokerage in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx, will host the seventh workshop of its 2018 monthly series on Wednesday, August 29, 7 to 8 p.m., at their offices at 2101 Frederick Douglass Blvd. Entitled “Affordable Housing – Housing Lotteries and HDFC Cooperatives,” the event is open to the public at no charge and will be moderated by top performing sales agent Agueda Ramirez.

“Applying for an apartment through the New York City affordable housing takes persistence,” explains Sarah Saltzberg, co-founding principal of the real estate brokerage. “Understanding criteria and application procedures can make a huge difference. This workshop will offer a window into that process.”

Adds Ms. Ramirez, “This seminar will allow consumers to learn how they can search and qualify for some of New York City’s affordable housing options when looking for a home.”

Attendance to the event is free, but RSVP’s are required because of limited space.
