BOMA New York To Host “Stop The Cooling Tower Violation Madness” Seminar On July 18, 2018

The Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater New York (BOMA New York) is pleased to announce that the association will host its July Seminar,“Stop the Cooling Tower Violation Madness” on July 18, 2018 from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Club 101 in New York City. The seminar will feature speakers Steven Serrano, Chief Executive Officer, New York Cooling Tower Inspections and Services and Thomas Layden, Principal, EBS Consulting Group, LLC.

Providing the Necessary Tools to Protect Your Business

The event will includea breakfast networking session, followed by introductions, background on Legionella as well as New York City and State Law summaries. The NYSDepartment of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYS DOHMH) regulations will be addressed, and the program will continue with a demonstration of the Cooling Tower Audit Mobile App.

This seminar comes as NYC faces one of the highest rates of Legionella in the country. Buildings are still failing cooling tower inspections and are being imposed fines as a result of Local Law 77.Leading New York City cooling tower compliance experts, Steven Serrano and Thomas Layden will provide insight on how to utilize a free and simple-to-use self-auditing compliance mobile app.
