Tim Maleeny Returns to Havas as Chief Strategy Officer, North America

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Havas announced today that Tim Maleeny returns to the company as Chief Strategy Officer, North America. His addition to the executive team will further support the agency’s ongoing mission to be the most meaningful partner to the modern CMO. As CSO, Maleeny will contribute to growth platform strategy, expand Havas’ strategic capabilities and personally advise on top-tier North American clients.

Before Havas, Maleeny was an Executive Director of Strategy at R/GA, the CSO and General Manager for Heat/Deloitte, and is a former Head of Strategic Planning for Ogilvy. He was previously at Havas from 2013 to 2016 as the Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director. “Havas has always been the most innovative of the holding companies, and there’s renewed momentum across the network, so I’m incredibly excited to be back,” said Maleeny.

Maleeny will reside full time in the New York office, also acting as President of Havas New York under the leadership of Laura Maness, CEO of Havas New York. In addition, he will serve as executive sponsor on the TD Ameritrade account. “As President, Tim will focus on growth and helping our flagship agency continue to break tradition,” said Maness. “We’re thrilled to have him join the team and contribute to our positive momentum.”
