Bakish Made $20.3M as CEO of Viacom; Lerer Exiting Board

Tonight's filing of a proxy statement by Viacom (VIA, VIAB) shows CEO Bob Bakish got paid $20.3M in 2017 as he sought to undertake a turnaround at the struggling company.

Of that, $2.77M was in base salary, with $5.8M in stock awards, $4.68M in option awards and $7M in non-equity incentive compensation.

Former CEO Tom Dooley was paid $27.9M in 2016, but made $53.65M in 2017, nearly all of that in separation payments.
