AST’s John Buonomo Joins Shareholder Services Association Board

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AST announced today that John Buonomo, Senior Vice President of Issuer Services, has been appointed to the board of the Shareholder Services Association (SSA). Buonomo joins a network of 16 board members – including issuers, service providers and industry leaders – whose mission is to support corporate issuers in effectively meeting their responsibilities for shareholder recordkeeping and service.

“I’ve had the honor of being actively involved in the SSA for many years and am thrilled to now help shape the direction of the organization through my role on the board,” Buonomo said. “The SSA provides the most valuable networking and educational opportunities in the industry, and I look forward to building on those programs as well as working closely with the rest of the board as we address the topics most important to corporate issuers.”

Buonomo has spent the entirety of his career in financial services and brings more than 27 years of shareholder services experience to his new role within the SSA.
