Marquis Health Services’ therapy gyms offer professional services and state-of-the-art equipment. At The Brentwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Danvers, Mass., the program includes a smart car to help patients simulate actual daily living skills during the rehabilitation process.
Marquis Health Services is partnering with Reliant Rehabilitation, a leading national provider of rehabilitation management services, to further enhance therapy services at its sub-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities, announced Norman Rokeach, chief executive officer of Marquis. As the healthcare affiliate of Tryko Partners, LLC, Marquis operates 18 skilled nursing facilities, totaling more than 2,400 beds, in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
“Reliant has earned its reputation as a ‘best-in-class’ provider of rehab services, and we are pleased to announce this partnership,” said Rokeach. “First and foremost, Marquis and Reliant are committed to providing the highest standard of care for every patient and ensuring that we have a seamless integration of staff at our facilities from day one.”
Founded in 2002, Reliant Rehabilitation is a leader in contract rehabilitation services providing Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy services to more than 60,000 patients across the U.S. Reliant has over 7,000 employees, 700 therapy sites and customer operations in 35 states. "Marquis Health Services' reputation for providing the highest quality post-acute care mirrors Reliant Rehabilitation's commitment to deliver industry-leading patient outcomes,” noted Reliant Rehabilitation Chief Executive Officer Chris Bird. “This is why Reliant and Marquis chose to become partners. We are looking forward to working closely together as we take post-acute care to the next level. Reliant's one and only core value says it all: Care Matters.”
Strategic Expansion in a Shifting Healthcare Landscape
Marquis is a leading, growing operator of long-term and sub-acute care facilities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, and the company has plans for continued expansion into new markets. “Our long-term relationship with Reliant will play an essential role in our success as we look to extend our geographic footprint in a measured, strategic manner,” added Rokeach.
Marquis is known for its partnerships with top medical communities throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic region. Marquis works with local healthcare providers in the markets in which it is active to develop comprehensive programming – from cardio-pulmonary to stroke recovery, chronic kidney management and Urgent SNF, and many others – aimed at meeting specific regional needs for patient care.
“The landscape within the healthcare industry continues to shift,” added Rokeach. “In a sense, nursing homes are the new hospitals, and assisted living facilities are looked at as the new nursing homes. At Marquis, we are proud to be at the forefront of providing quality sub-acute medical care, rehab services, long-term care and specialized programs. Our strategic partnership with a national powerhouse like Reliant further enhances our capabilities within this framework.”
