Equinox, the high-performance lifestyle leader, today announced that Vimla Black Gupta, formerly senior vice president of global marketing at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Equinox Fitness Clubs.
Gupta will oversee marketing strategy development and execution on behalf of Equinox and its growing portfolio of 91 fitness club locations, reporting directly to Niki Leondakis, Chief Executive Officer of Equinox Fitness Clubs.

Gupta brings more than 25 years of marketing expertise to Equinox, most recently leading the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics business at Estee Lauder as senior vice president of global marketing. There she managed, led and created the product, consumer and digital marketing strategy for the $1 Billionbrand. Prior to her four-year tenure with Bobbi Brown, she held the position of vice president, new brand development of Idea Bank, the Estee Lauder Companies' in-house innovation unit. Gupta has also held key marketing leadership roles at Procter and Gamble and the Gilette Companies.
