49 Chambers, a Historic Residential Offering Born in the Gilded Era of La Belle Époque

11/20/17

Over 200 guests gathered in celebration of 49 Chambers, a historic residential offering born in the Gilded Era of La Belle Époque. Fine French hors d’oeuvres were provided by Pistache NYC and guests enjoyed an exclusive presentation on the La Belle Époque Era in New York by renowned curator, prolific author, and 49 Chambers in-house historian, Thomas Mellins.

49 Chambers is one of New York’s most cherished turn-of-the-century landmarks, the former home of Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank, that was designed in 1912 by architect Raymond F. Almirall. Today, this architectural icon is an artful collection of contemporary park-view condominiums coupled with the amenities of an urban resort. Luxuriously recast and restored by the masters of sensory minimalism, Gabellini Sheppard Associates, into the ideal canvas for contemporary living.
