ML House Interior Design Also Completed by GKA

Construction has officially topped out at 1050 Sixth Avenue, a 24-floor, 62-apartment luxury residential tower designed by Gene Kaufman Architect (GKA). The 63,000-square-foot building – aptly named “ML House” – is a project of Skyline Developers, the New York division of New Jersey-based Garden Homes Development.

ML House presents studio, one and two bedroom residences with a boutique approach to providing residents with a warm and accessible everyday retreat. With Bryant Park and City skyline views exposed through oversized windows, the building boasts private outdoor space in select residences. The building also has a fitness center, residents lounge and second floor terrace, and the 24th floor penthouse has its own private rooftop lounge. ML House also offers 2,700 square feet of retail space at ground level.

GKA also designed the building’s interiors, including a lobby that greets residents and visitors with iconic elements from the surrounding neighborhood. The apartments’ living and dining spaces have a warm Scandinavian Modern feel, while the kitchens sport a clean, modern aesthetic. Deluxe bathrooms are sheathed in marble.

“ML House speaks to luxury, as well as the exclusivity and comfort one finds only in their own home,” said Gene Kaufman, founding principal of GKA. “The residences and the building itself were designed with striking contemporary elements that blend seamlessly against the backdrop of this vibrant neighborhood.”
