Otterbourg P.C. announced today that Nneoma A. Maduike has been promoted to of counsel, effective Nov. 1, 2017.

“Nneoma has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to our clients and to the firm and exemplifies the tremendous depth and talent in Otterbourg’s finance and corporate practices,” said Richard L. Stehl, Otterbourg’s chairman.

Ms. Maduike is in the firm’s Banking and Specialty Finance Group and focuses on a wide range of lending and corporate transactions. She represents banks, hedge funds, private equity funds, commercial finance companies and other institutional lenders in connection with the structuring and documentation of lease and loan transactions, including asset based, cash flow and structured finance transactions, as well as loan workouts and restructurings, and corporate and real estate transactions. In the course of her career, she has worked on numerous financing and corporate transactions confronting a wide range of legal issues raised by Federal, State and international law.

Ms. Maduike has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America as one of the top fifteen Women of Influence in America and is a winner of the 2017 Commercial Finance Association 40 under 40 Awards. She is an active participant in various legal organizations in New York City, including the City Bar Association as well as the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law – New York, where she is the incoming president and a member of the Board of Directors.

She received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her B.A. from Rutgers University.
