AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Jerry Wolfe to the role of Senior Advisor in the firm’s growing Digital Practice.
Widely recognized as a pioneer in the digitization of the retail and consumer goods industries, Jerry brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience to AlixPartners and will work closely with the firm’s retail and consumer goods teams as well as its digital team.
Jerry is the chief executive officer and founder of Vivanda Inc., a food-industry technology business dedicated to bringing the consumer, manufacturers and retailers closer together using data analytics. Regularly featured in both the retail and technology press, he is acknowledged as an innovator in his industry and is a regular commentator on the digital disruption driving growth throughout the retail and consumer-products sectors.
Prior to Vivanda, Jerry spent 14 years at the well-known food company McCormick & Company Inc., where he served as the company’s first-ever chief information officer and was responsible for an enterprise-wide, growth-led, digital transformation process. Before joining McCormick, he was a partner at the accounting and consulting firm Ernst & Young (now EY). He began his career as a founding member of supply-chain software and consulting start-up Manugistics Group Inc.
