Hospitality House Brings Celestine’s Soulful Fare To The Dumbo Waterfront

Hospitality House, a premier Food and Beverage Advisory Firm providing strategy, support, and real estate services to Hospitality and Real Estate communities throughout North America,is pleased to announce it has sourced Dumbo’s latest waterfront restaurant, Celestine.The establishment will inhabit the ground floor of Alloy Development’s (Alloy) condominium building at 1 John Street in Brooklyn. The deal also included contract advisory services,and wasnegotiated by Hospitality House Founding Partner Karma McDermott.

At Celestine’s recent grand opening on October 12, guests enjoyed stunning views of the skyline from the restaurant’s vantage point beneath the Manhattan Bridge.The restaurant, which offers Mediterranean-inspired fare and expertly curated wine lists from the same region, can seat 85 guests in its 2,837-square foot interior, in addition to an 830-square-foot outdoor space which seats 45.

The 1 John Street condominium building is rife with amenities, from access to Brooklyn Bridge Park and local public events hosted there, to its 24-hour doorman and rooftop cabanas. The building is LEED certified and is currently striving for Gold Certification. Celestine, the property’s latest tenant, joins existing tenant Brooklyn Children’s Museum Studio.
