Eric Thomas Joins Cushman & Wakefield as Executive Director in Manhattan

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that widely respected real estate veteran, Eric Thomas, has joined the firm as an Executive Director in New York. Mr. Thomas will be based at Cushman & Wakefield’s midtown office and will work with Lou D’Avanzo, Vice Chairman and Managing Principal, Midtown Manhattan, and Joseph Caridi, Executive Managing Director, Downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island, focusing on office brokerage in Manhattan.

Mr. Thomas joins Cushman & Wakefield from Cresa Partners, a Washington D.C. based brokerage firm that specializes in tenant representation, where he served as a Managing Principal. Prior to his position at Cresa Partners, Eric worked as a Vice President at Cassidy Turley, and Director at The Staubach Company.

With almost 20 years in the industry, Mr. Thomas has built a prosperous career in commercial real estate through his expertise in evaluating clients’ provisions and his commitment to finding ideal real estate solutions. He comes to the firm with over 1,750,000 RSF of transactional volume, working with impressive clients in the financial, technology, media, and creative industries.

Additionally, Mr. Thomas is a MetaProp NYC Real Estate Mentor, an active member of the Urban Land Institute Steering Committee and a Business Council Member for the National Hemophilia Foundation.
