Burbio closes investment from Hudson Valley Startup Fund On October 18, 2017, Burbio, a Hudson Valley-based digital start up that streams school, non-profit, and business event information for local communities, secured a seed investment from the Hudson Valley Startup Fund. This investment is the 4th for the fund, a member-managed seed capital fund that launched in 2016 to support high-growth companies in the Hudson Valley. Burbio, which was recently named as the event platform for the City of Yonkers, NY, and the City of Stamford, CT, publishes content in hundreds of local communities and serves information through a consumer website, iOS app, and Alexa Skill. Funding will be used to continue developing both technology and marketing.
