-- Colliers International Represents Mike & Dave’s Yogurt Shop in Flagship Location --

A new concept in frozen yogurt is coming to Greenwich Village and the New York University area: healthy, frozen Greek yogurt in the form of Mike & Dave’s Yogurt Shop. The company recently leased approximately 1,000 square feet of space at 120 MacDoughal Street, across from the legendary Minetta Tavern between Bleeker and West 3rd streets. This is Mike & Dave’s very first location. Colliers International’s Michael Thomas, Managing Director, and Tim Pond, Associate, represented Mike & Dave’s in its acquisition.

Founded by New York natives David Asser and Michael Fribourg, Mike & Dave’s Yogurt Shop invites customers to “indulge your healthy side with sweet or savory Greek yogurt blends served frozen or classic.” The company’s machinery mixes any ingredients, from fruit to avocado, pretzels, cookies, almond butter and beyond, with Greek yogurt for a treat appropriate for any time of day.

Mike & Dave’s chose to launch its concept in New York because of residents’ receptiveness and increasing focus on healthy eating and personal wellness. Colliers and the Mike & Dave’s team scoured the city for the best location for its flagship, eventually finding and committing to the 120 MacDougal Street space, which they saw as ideal for tapping into the New York University student and employee populations. The shop will accept NYU Campus Cash for purchases.

Mike & Dave’s Yogurt Shop will open at in early Fall. A second location in the Hamptons is in the works.
