CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CURE Media Group proudly announces the addition of The National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) to its Strategic Alliance Partnership Program (SAP program). The collaboration will provide education on management, treatment and prevention methods for pancreatic diseases.

Michael J. Hennessy Jr., president of Michael J. Hennessy Associates, parent company of CURE Media Group, said, “We are honored to announce our collaboration with the NPF. This partnership will allow us to share cutting-edge research and emerging therapies and provide support to patients effected by pancreatic diseases.”

NPF is the only foundation dedicated to patients affected by all forms of pancreatic diseases. Through research and advocacy, the organization provides hope, support and education to patients, caregivers and health care professionals. Since being established in 1997, NPF has donated over $3 million to fund more than 100 research projects.

“We are extremely excited about our partnership with CURE®,” said Matthew Alsante, Executive Director of the National Pancreas Foundation. “Being a voice for those who bravely fight pancreatic cancer can be challenging. The addition of Cure Media Group will help amplify that voice and get the needed information on NPF approved treatment centers, new therapies, and the latest developments on early detection out to those patients and families who need to hear it most.”

To ensure that patients across the nation receive the utmost care, NPF works together with 41 approved NPF Pancreatitis Centers such as Yale Center for Pancreatic Disease, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Saint Louis University/SLUCare Center for Pancreatic and Biliary Diseases, and 35 NPF approved Pancreatic Cancer Centers including Georgetown University – Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Hackensack University Medical Center/ John Theurer Cancer Center, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center among others.

The SAP program enables an open exchange of information between CURE Media Group and various trusted organizations. During this collaboration, NPF will offer quality content, including research updates and management strategies, which will better educate patients, families and caregivers about treatment options, emerging research and patient support groups.
