The Silver Diner has announced West Deptford resident William “Fred” Acevedo as Operating Partner of its Cherry Hill location.

Acevedo will continue his current role as general manager and manage operations of Silver Diner, including overseeing the fresh and local healthy menu, staffing, customer service and community outreach, including the company-wide Eat Well, Do Well! rewards program benefiting local schools and ‘Run the Diner’ fundraisers to benefit local non-profits.

A Silver Diner employee for 18 years, Acevedo started his career as a busser. He has worked in various positions, including line cook, line cook supervisor, hospitality and floor manager, service manager and kitchen manager.
