Another 22,000 SF of Leasing at Highpoint Corporate Center

Two new tenants have committed at Highpoint Corporate Center in Fairfield. Richard Mirliss and Alex Vitro of Colliers International NJ LLC Inc. (NASDAQ:CIGI, TSX:CIG) serve as exclusive leasing agents for the 162,000-square-foot office propertylocated at 695 Route 46.

Cloud services provider Fusion Telecommunications International (NASDAQ: FSNN) signed a 15,000-square-foot lease at Highpoint Corporate Center. The company, which offers cloud solutions for small, mid-size and large businesses, will relocate its regional office to the building from nearby Wayne, N.J. J.C. Giordano and Tim Lohmann from Avison Young served as tenant brokers in the transaction.

Additionally, Acuative has leased 6,500 square feet and will relocate its headquarters to Highpoint Corporate Center from another local address in a flight-to-quality play. The firm provides IT services and solutions for clients in the service provider, enterprise, finance, retail and public sectors. Michael Tesser and Ryan Haggerty of Colliers International represented the tenant.

Both companies’ long-term commitments continue a time of brisk activity for Highpoint Corporate Center. In fact, Mirliss and Vitro have orchestrated 50,000 square feet in leasing activity there since their appointment to market the property in 2016. This includes attracting eight new tenants and arranging an extension/expansion for a long-time occupant.

Mirliss noted this success is attributable to a recently completed, building-wide upgrade initiative combined with affordable, flexible lease terms. The ownership renovated Highpoint Corporate Center’s four-story atrium lobby and common areas, and introduced new amenities including a café and a fitness center with locker rooms and showers. Plans are drawn for the introduction of a shared conferencing center as well. Tenants also benefit from a 5/1,000 parking ratio.

The Colliers team currently is marketing units between 5,000 and 32,500 square feet at Highpoint Corporate Center, with building signage opportunities available. The property is conveniently located near interstates 80 and 287, and is easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway.
