Eastern Union Funding, one of the most active commercial real estate mortgage brokerage firms in the nation, announced that Steve Cohen has joined the firm as Senior Vice President. Mr. Cohen, who has executed more than $3 billion in loans in the last four years of his career, will join the deal team headed by the firm’s founder and president, Ira Zlotowitz.

Mr. Cohen, age 31, has a strong professional background in commercial real estate, having begun his career as a commercial mortgage brokerage. Mr. Cohen graduated summa cum laude (Finance) from Touro College with a bachelor's degree in Science, and earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Baruch College. He resides in North Woodmere, NY.
