David McLeod Will Be the Third Featured Artist in a Rotating Series; The Work Will Be Displayed in Lobby and Street Level Windows from September 4th through December 31
L&L Holding Company announced today that visual artist and multi-disciplinary illustrator David McLeod will be the third featured artist in its rotating art exhibition series at 200 Fifth Avenue.
“Granular,” featuring four prints by McLeod, will be on view in both the lobby and in two street level window cases at L&L’s landmark 800,000-square-foot office building beginning September 4th through December 31st, 2017.
McLeod, who creates and designs major campaigns for a variety of corporate clients such as Mastercard, Diesel, and Nike, is known for his innovative use of computer-generated imagery (CGI), typography and short format films. In the “Granular” series, McLeod developed the prints by experimenting with clusters of small, colorful particles and creating a variety of different forms and shapes.
“With this latest installation in our rotating art series, we want to continue to make 200 Fifth Avenue and the Flatiron District a destination for cutting-edge modern art,” said L&L Holding President and Chief Investment Officer Robert T. Lapidus. “We are thrilled with David’s unique and thought-provoking designs, which we believe will become an attraction for both our tenants and the surrounding community.”
L&L’s ongoing art exhibition series features contemporary art on a rotating, six-month schedule. Past artists have included sculptors John Newman, Christina Watka and Rachel Mica Weiss.
