Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Patrick M. Dowd has joined the Firm as a partner in the Corporate Real Estate Transactions Practice, based in the New York office.
Mr. Dowd represents clients in a wide variety of real estate transactions, with a principal focus on acquisition and disposition transactions involving all types of real estate assets, including real estate operating companies, borrower-side financings and joint ventures. His client base is dominated by real estate funds and other real estate investors, including Blackstone, KKR and CBRE. Mr. Dowd is the latest addition to the Firm's Corporate Real Estate Transactions Practice, which recently announced the addition of Darren Rogers and Patrick Williams in London. Mr. Dowd joins from Simpson Thacher.

Mr. Dowd earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2006 and his M.A. from the University of Chicago in 2000. He received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Cornell University in 1998.
Fried Frank's Corporate Real Estate Transactions Practice consists of a dedicated group of corporate lawyers with many years of experience in the real estate sector.
