To help businesses throughout the Southeast easily and effectively address their commercial insurance needs, XL Catlin's Broker & Client Management is expanding their team in the US with the addition of Arden Young as its new Client Distribution Leader.
According to Robert Peretti, XL Catlin's Head of Broker & Client Management in North America, "From Miami to Atlanta to Memphis, the business environment in the southeast region is bustling. In his new role with XL Catlin, Mr. Young will work with XL Catlin brokers and clients throughout the Southeast, helping them access XL Catlin's multi-line property, casualty and speciality insurance coverages claims expertise and risk management services.
Mr. Young reports to Kimberly Reed, XL Catlin's Regional Leader for the Southeast, who added: "Given Arden's extensive experience working with insurers, brokers and in corporate risk management, he brings a unique perspective to our team. He has walked in our clients' shoes and understands the business risks they contend with every day. We're looking forward to having Arden put his 30 years of hands-on experience and understanding to work for our clients and brokers, helping to find relevant insurance solutions that meet their particular needs."
Mr. Young joins XL Catlin from Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc. where he most recently served as vice president for business development. Prior to his tenure there, he held various industry risk management positions including as a senior manager in risk management for Georgia Pacific. He is a graduate of Florida State University, and a huge Seminole fan.
