JEMB Realty Corporation (JEMB), a real estate development, investment and management organization headquartered in New York City (NYC), today proudly announces the appointment of Dennis Rauchet as the firm’s Senior Director of Development. With extensive experience in the consulting, design and execution of real estate development projects, Rauchet will be responsible in overseeing the highly anticipated, ground-up, 500,000-square-foot office development of One Willoughby Square (One Willoughby) in Downtown Brooklyn and the larger scale redevelopment at the iconic 26-story, one million-square-foot rental building, Herald Towers, in Midtown Manhattan. The project will be a complete revitalization, changing the complexion of the entire building, and creating one of the best residential buildings in Midtown.

With his resume and experience, he will be an asset to our company and take charge of our ongoing One Willoughby development in Brooklyn as well as Herald Towers redevelopment,” said Joseph Jerome, President of JEMB. “We welcome him with open arms and look forward to working with him on many great new projects.”

With almost two decades of real estate experience, Rauchet has been responsible for successful project delivery and results in many of the industry’s leading firms including Colliers International, Goldman Sachs & Co. and Skanska, USA. Additionally, he worked with Forest City Ratner Companies, the co-developer of One Willoughby with JEMB, for nearly a decade. There he managed numerous design consultants and oversaw all aspects of the construction of The New York Times Building, Westchester’s Ridge Hill, 2 Metro Tech and 80 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, among many others.

Rauchet earned an M.B.A. in Finance from Pace University in NYC. He also received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University; and certificate of Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University. He is originally from Brooklyn, New York and now resides in Jersey City, N.J.
