Alison Beddard, Sherry Cushman and Marla Maloney Honored as Real Estate Forum Women of Influence

8/24/17

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Real Estate Forum has selected Marla Maloney, President, Asset Services, Americas; Sherry Cushman, Executive Managing Director, Leader, Legal Sector Advisory Group; and Alison Beddard, Senior Director, Office & Investment Services, as 2017 Women of Influence.

For the 24th consecutive year, Real Estate Forum recognized 50 women who have significantly impacted commercial real estate with their exceptional transaction volume, strong impact on their company’s overall success or contributions to the industry at large.

As President of Asset Services, Maloney focuses on client care, consistent improvement to the Asset Services operating platform, best-in-class service delivery and steady growth for Cushman & Wakefield’s more than 700-million-square-foot portfolio across the U.S. and Canada. Under her leadership, the U.S. Asset Services platform has grown substantially through several acquisitions of property management firms and high-profile wins, as well as the addition of industry-leading talent.

With 32 years of advising tenants in the legal sector, Cushman is an Executive Managing Director and Leader of the 300+ advisors of Cushman & Wakefield’s national Legal Sector Advisory Group. She serves as a thought leader and chief strategist to Cushman & Wakefield law firm clients. Cushman has represented law firms in more than 12 million square feet of leases, lease restructures/renewals, build-to-suits and base-building transactions.

In her Senior Director role, Beddard’s expertise includes office tenant representation, office build-to-suit strategies, land acquisition and office landlord representation. Since 2010, she has closed more than $290 million in transactions representing both occupiers and investors. Beddard is also the global President of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network.

“I congratulate Marla, Sherry and Alison on this prestigious recognition,” said Tod Lickerman, Cushman & Wakefield’s Chief Executive of the Americas. “They are all impactful women in the industry because of their passion for excellent client service, desire to drive growth, focus on developing and leading their teams and involvement in their communities and organizations that foster industry learning and leadership.”
