NAI Hanson Brokers Four Industrial / Flex Leases for Growing Distribution Companies at the Van Brunt Business Center in Englewood, N.J.

8/22/17

NAI James E. Hanson, a leading New Jersey-based full-service independent commercial real estate firm, announces it has brokered leases for 7,500 square feet of industrial/flex space to Lotte Global Logistics, LLV at 29 Smith Street, 12,500 square feet of industrial/flex space to DY Imports at 49-53 Smith Street, 5,000 square feet of industrial/flex space to Ami Bijoux at 14 West Forest Avenue and a lease renewal for 5,000 square feet of industrial/flex space for Harvest Wholesale Imports at 17 Smith Street in the Van Brunt Business Center in Englewood, N.J. NAI Hanson’s Ken Lundberg, Steve Pastor, and Patrick Lennon represented the landlord, West Forest Avenue Industrial, Inc, and DY Imports, Ami Bijoux and Harvest Wholesale Imports in the transactions. Lotte Global Logistics was represented by Young Lee of Eastern Realty.

Lotte Global Logistics, a subsidiary of Hyundai Logiem, is a South Korean integrated logistics company that will be utilizing the 7,500-square-foot space to support their multi-faceted logistics, procurement, storage and transportation operations.

DY Imports, a distribution business, will be moving from a smaller space at 29 Smith Street in the Van Brunt Business Center to the much larger space at 49-53 Smith Street to accommodate its growth. 49-53 Smith Street is a 12,500-square-foot unit with 5,000 square feet of office space, two tailgates and 18’ ceilings.

Ami Bijoux will also be relocating from a smaller unit to a 5,000-square-foot space that includes 2,000 square feet of office space in the business park to accommodate their growing distribution business. 14 West Forest Avenue boasts 18’ ceilings, one tailgate and onsite parking.

Harvest Wholesale Imports is a distributor of gift, floral, craft, packaging, and event décor items for the wholesale market. The company utilizes the space to meet their warehousing and distribution needs and the lease renewal will allow them to continue to operate their business from the well-located and flexible space.

The Van Brunt Business Center is located less than ten minutes from New York City via the George Washington Bridge and is in close proximity to Routes 4 and 80, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Palisades Parkway. Harvest Wholesale Imports recognized the prime location and adaptability when they decided to renew their lease and the additional space available in the complex will allow Lotte Logistics, DY Imports and Ami Bijoux to continue to expand their businesses and reach new and existing customers.

“Our clients needed suitable spaces to house their quickly growing distribution businesses while maintaining immediate access to New York City and the markets surrounding the area,” said Lundberg. “We were able to negotiate a lease renewal on behalf of one of them and find the remaining three ideal, larger spaces in the same office park to ensure seamless and easy moves for the companies. Our market knowledge and expertise enabled us to quickly execute these deals on behalf of the landlord and ensure that Harvest Wholesale Imports, Lotte Global Logistics, DY Imports and Ami Bijoux could continue their operations at the Van Brunt Business Center.”
