Times Square Alliance renewed and expanded its lease for a total of 10,365 square feet at the building. Founded in 1992, the Alliance works to improve and promote Times Square - cultivating the creativity, energy and edge that have made the area an icon of entertainment, culture and urban life for over a century. In addition to providing core neighborhood services with its Public Safety Officers and Sanitation Associates, the Alliance promotes local businesses; encourages economic development and public improvements; co-coordinates numerous major events in Times Square; and advocates on behalf of its constituents with respect to a host of public policy, planning and quality-of-life issues.

Jun Wang & Associates renewed its lease and added 2,627 square feet to its 1,894-square-foot space for a total of 4,521 square feet on the 11th floor. Since its inception, the company has distinguished itself by creating a practice focused on complex, sophisticated transactional work, providing practical legal solutions for its clients.

“We are delighted that such a significant nonprofit group and prominent legal firm have chosen to remain at 1560 Broadway,” said Mr. Steinwurtzel. “The commitment by the tenant speaks to our exceptional asset management skills, as we are continually looking to invest in each of our assets in order to provide our tenants with the best experience possible.”

These leases followed on the heels of an art installation at the property by acclaimed artist and real estate broker Suzanne Sunshine, which features three paintings, each 60 inches high by 48 inches wide, selected from her previously exhibited series of eight abstract paintings called “G Major Scale.” These are now located in the building’s fourth-floor sky lobby, accessible to all tenants and their visitors.

The building, which was constructed in 1925, offers 24/7 access and an attended lobby. The property’s striking new entrance includes a marble and granite lobby, reception desk, security controls and four shuttle elevators that serve the new fourth floor sky lobby. Other amenities include a dedicated café, casual meeting spaces and washrooms set along the length of the sky lobby. Its prominent Times Square location includes a variety of nearby restaurants, retail and theater options as well as close proximity to Penn Station, Port Authority and major subway lines.
