SL Green Realty Corp (NYSE: SLG), New York City’s largest commercial landlord, today announced it has signed a 17,320-square-foot, 5+-year renewal lease with Hoplite Capital Management L.P. at 810 Seventh Avenue.

Hoplite Capital is a highly regarded hedge fund management company which has been a tenant in the building since 2007. Hoplite will continue to occupy the entire 34th floor of the 41-story, 750,000-square-foot tower located between West 52nd and 53rd Streets.

“We are delighted that Hoplite has elected to remain at 810 Seventh as one of our valued tenants,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president, director of leasing and real property for SL Green, who added that “the building is a magnet for financial and technology firms due its recent capital upgrades and sweeping views of Central Park”.

Other notable building tenants include Nomura Research Institute, Daewoo Securities, Berkeley Research Group, Aegis Capital Holding, Omega Advisors, Brightwood Capital Advisors and Ion Media Networks.

Chris Corrinet, Ben Friedland, Ken Meyerson, Mike Movshovich and Adam Rabin from CBRE represented Hoplite in the transaction, while Larry Swiger represented SL Green in-house.
