NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NY Kids Club, a leading provider of premier early childhood education, camps, parties and events, along with its award-winning NY Preschool affiliate announced the appointment of Dana Fiser as CEO.
Ms. Fiser will assume this role on September 6, replacing interim CEO Fred Hipp (a past President and CEO of AMF Bowling and California Pizza Kitchen, Inc.). As the newly appointed CEO, Dana will oversee growth and development of the Club’s 15 New York locations, including its proprietary curriculum and forthcoming national expansion.
Dana brings with her a wealth of business knowledge and vast experience in leading multi-location, client-focused organizations. Working her way up from a sales associate out of college to Global CEO at Jenny Craig, Dana transformed the company into a leading international weight loss brand. Through her expertise in operations, marketing, logistics, and financial analysis, Dana expertly led the expansion of Jenny Craig from 100 centers to over 500 centers, and is credited for rebranding Jenny Craig through a Nestle sale to private equity. Notably, as a VP of Operations and Training at Jenny Craig, she produced the highest revenue levels in the company’s history.
Dana left Jenny Craig in 2014 and became the CEO of Metabolic Research Centers (MRC), another company focusing on weight-loss, health and wellness. Her accomplishments include relaunching the MRC website and transforming the marketing from traditional advertising to a digital based platform focused on lead generation. An integral part of Dana’s success lies in the fact that she is passionate about developing leaders from within, by fully recognizing their strengths and deploying their talents. Under her supervision, she has empowered many professionals to achieve VP and CEO positions in several organizations.
