Thor Equities Appoints Catalina Chew As Controller

Thor Equities, a global leader in urban real estate development, leasing and management, has announced the appointment of Catalina Chew as Controller.

Ms. Chew will oversee a team responsible for the preparation and review of fund, property and management level accounting and reporting, as well as participate in a number of new technology initiatives.

Ms. Chew was previously at Berkshire Group, a Boston-based real estate investment management company, where she was responsible for overseeing a portfolio valued at more than $1 billion in assets under management.

Prior to joining Berkshire Group, Ms. Chew was corporate controller at High Street Equity Advisors in Boston for over six years. Before that, she was accounting manager and treasurer for Northland Investment Corporation, and an associate at PricewaterhourseCoopers LLP.

Ms. Chew graduated from Fisher College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She was named “Woman of the Year” by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) in 2012/2013.
