101 Park Ave is Now New National HQ of American Kennel Club and Museum of the Dog

Flanked by two champion Leonbergers, a warmhearted bulldog named Dailey, and Hugo, a German Shorthaired Pointer, Peter S. Kalikow, President of H.J. Kalikow & Co., LLC today announced the signing of a major lease at 101 Park Avenue with The American Kennel Club (AKC). The AKC is the largest purebred dog registry and leading advocate for dogs. The AKC will house its world corporate headquarters as well as the AKC Museum of the Dog at 101 Park Avenue.

In making the announcement, Mr. Kalikow remarked, “H.J. Kalikow & Co., LLC is proud to welcome the AKC to 101 Park Avenue. The AKC has been the gold standard in purebred dog registry and advocacy for dogs. Similarly, 101 Park Avenue has been the gold standard in Manhattan commercial real estate, delivering superior service and amenities in an award winning architectural office building.”

The lease, of over 60,000 square feet, will have two components. The fifth floor will house the AKC administrative offices. A unique and extensive collection of dog art will be showcased on the lobby level and adjoining third floor of the building.
