19,500 Square-Foot Space Merges Two Offices in Prime Downtown Location; Will Open Fall 2017

Douglas Elliman Real Estate today announced plans to expand its downtown operation with a new seventh floor office at 111 Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron section of Manhattan. The 19,500 square-foot, full-floor space will combine two of the firm’s most successful offices – 26 West 17th Street and 137 Waverly Place – into one location with room for 125 agents.

The landmark neoclassical cast-iron building was constructed in 1895 and boasts stunning architectural features, including original mosaic tiles and soaring ceilings up to 11 feet.Douglas Elliman will occupy a coveted corner space with more than 35 over-sized windows overlooking Fifth Avenue and 18th Street. Other notable tenants include H&M and Eileen Fisher.
