WATKINSVILLE, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stadion Money Management, known for its asset allocation solutions using ETFs and alternative investment strategies, announced that Holly MacMillan has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

In her new position, MacMillan is focused on developing messages that increase awareness of the Stadion brand across all target audience groups. She’ll also lead marketing efforts around new product launches and enhancements that are expected to roll out over the next few months. Before being named CMO, she was Vice President of Marketing, where she led the development of campaigns to educate financial advisors about market risk.

“We’ve experienced tremendous growth over the last year, especially in our retirement business where StoryLine crossed $500 million in assets. We felt the need to bolster our sales and marketing efforts to keep the momentum going,” said Jud Doherty, CEO of Stadion. “Holly’s an outstanding marketer who has served us well over the past eight years. We’re excited to see the positive impact she’ll have on our brand as we continue to evolve as a company.”

Prior to joining Stadion in 2009, MacMillan was a Group Variable Annuity Product Manager with Genworth Financial, where she managed the creation of a new market annuity product. She also held positions at SunTrust Banks, Inc., and INVESCO. Holly received her Finance degree from the University of Georgia and serves on the Board of Directors for the YWCO, a local recreation and wellness organization.

Concurrently, Stadion announced that Brandon Lowe has transitioned to Stadion’s retirement business development team in the role of Vice President, Business Development.

Lowe joined Stadion in 2007. He is dedicated to working with Retirement Advisors, platforms, and Third-Party Administrators providing solutions that enable them to better serve plan sponsors and plan participants.

Lowe’s background includes financial analysis, debt underwriting, and financial sales. Prior to joining Stadion, he worked for Bank of America and Wells Fargo.

Lowe received his undergraduate from the University of Georgia and his MBA with a focus on Finance and Accounting from Georgia State University. He holds the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS) designation, and is Series 65 licensed.

“Brandon has been an extremely effective wholesaler for us over the last few years and has proven his ability to tell our story in a way that connects and engages with the diversified audience channels we serve. We are actively looking to add more recordkeeping partners for our managed account solution, StoryLine, and Brandon’s experience dovetails perfectly into his new business development role,” said Doherty.
