101 Bedford has kicked off this year’s Summer 101 Celebration! with barbeques and “beach” parties on its sumptuous 17,000-square-foot rooftop deck, furnished with cabana-style seating, multiple gas grills, picnic dining areas, and even a mini beach with sand and chaise lounges! The building’s highly-anticipated rooftop movie nights resume Thursday, July 13 with Academy Award-winning coming-of-age film “Moonlight,” shown on a 28-foot outdoor screen, surrounded by comfortable, built-in seating and panoramic views beyond.
“Better than a drive-in, our summer outdoor movie series is one of the most popular amenities at 101 Bedford,” says co-developer Yoel Sabel of Halcyon Management. “In just a few years, our building has become synonymous with sophisticated living and exceptional activities, such as enjoying great films for free under the stars.”
Since opening in 2013, group activities at 101 Bedford have included wine tastings, comedy nights, a building kickball club, book clubs and seasonal holiday parties. This year, the “Kids’ Happy Hour of Singing!” was added to the roster of resident activities.
In addition to building-sponsored activities, curated by Vivacity 101, there is a 2,500-square-foot fully-equipped fitness center, with adjacent yoga and Pilates studios.
